How to Create and Add Facebook Pixel to WordPress

This post will help you create Facebook pixel and install FB pixel on to your website. Once your pixel starts showing green bit dot that means that your pixel is working now.

Create and Add Facebook Pixel

To create Facebook pixel go to Business Settings and then to Data Sources

  1. Business Settings
  2. Data Sources
  3. Click Add button
  4. Name your pixel and enter your website URL
  5. Click Continue
  6. Go for Set Up the Pixel now
  7. Go for Set Up Manually
  8. Copy Facebook Pixel Code
  9. Add or paste it to your website <head> tag
  10. Scroll down the current Window
  11. Enter your website URL to send test traffic
  12. Click Continue
  13. Wait for an hour or so
  14. Come back and check the Event Manager for page views

Install FB Pixel from Event Manager

If you have already created Facebook pixel then start installing it with the help of FB Event Manager.

  1. Go to FB Event Manager
  2. Select Pixel from the list on the left
  3. Click Continue Pixel Setup
  4. Select Facebook Pixel
  5. Click Connect
  6. Manually add pixel code to website
  7. Copy the FB pixel base code
  8. Add this base code to you website head tag
  9. Click Continue
  10. Turn on Automatic Advanced Matching
  11. Click Continue
  12. Click Open Event Set up tool
  13. Enter website URL and enter
  14. Click Continue
  15. Verify your domain name
  16. Add your domain name
  17. Copy verification meta tag
  18. Paste it in your website head tag
  19. Click Verify Domain – Verified ✔
  20. Check everything after some time.
